Almost certainly. Original builder-grade exterior coatings in Southwest Florida typically give five to eight years, so a 2004 home is well past due. Look for chalking that rubs off on your hand, faded south and west elevations, and hairline cracks opening in the stucco — all three mean it should be scoped now, before the substrate starts taking damage.
